YSP Tournament

Organise a football tournament

Plan a football tournament for youth, adults or a company event: pools, timed matches across multiple pitches, live results and a knockout with crossover semi-finals.

Setting up and trying it out is free. Participating teams need no account and no subscription.

Timed matches

Tournament matches are often shorter than a regular match, for example 2 x 10 or 15 minutes. The score at the final whistle is the result. You set the playing time and the time the schedule reserves per match separately, so there is room to change over.

Pools with goal difference

By default 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw. On a tie you sort by goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head or fewest goals against, in the order you choose.

Multiple pitches at once

At a sports park you play on several pitches at once. The schedule spreads the matches over the pitches and makes sure a team does not play two matches back to back.

Simple results

On the live screen you only enter the final score, such as 3-1. Standings and follow-up matches update immediately.

A draw in the knockout

A knockout match needs a winner. On a draw you choose the winner and how the match was decided: penalties, extra time or another way you agree on. That is shown on the public page as well.

Results from the touchline

Organisers enter results on their phone. Parents, players and visitors follow the programme and standings via the public link.

Example

16 youth teams in 4 pools of 4 on 4 pitches, 12-minute matches. The pool winners and runners-up play quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final. A draw in the knockout is decided by penalties.

Frequently asked questions

Can I plan a football tournament with 2 x 10 minutes?

Yes. Set the playing time and reserve enough time per match in the schedule, including the break and changeover.

What happens with a draw in the knockout?

You choose the winner and how it was decided, such as penalties or extra time. The winner automatically goes through to the next round.

Are draws possible in the pools?

Yes, by default a draw in the pools counts for 1 point. You can also switch draws off.

Ready to organise your tournament?

Set up your tournament for free and look at the schedule. Small tournaments are completely free; for bigger ones you only choose a plan when you start inviting and publishing.
